IQF (Individually Quick Frozen)
A highly effective method used in shrimp processing that involves freezing each individual shrimp separately rather than in a bulk freezing process In the IQF process, freshly processed and sorted shrimp are rapidly frozen at extremely low temperatures, typically around -40°F (-40°C) or lower. This method preserves the texture, flavor, and nutritional quality of the shrimp, while preventing large ice crystals that can damage the product

Packaging
& Storage
Once the shrimp are individually quick frozen, they are immediately transferred to packaging equipment. The IQF shrimp are typically packaged in airtight, moisture-resistant containers, such as vacuum-sealed bags or bulk containers, to prevent freezer burn and maintain quality.
Shrimp can be used to create a wide range of products. Our processing facility provides a customizable product per customer requirements ranging from whole IQF to peeled and deveined shrimps
